Quasi Biography.

Kyle Rancourt is a Junior at Washington State University majoring in Sociology.  When he’s not swamped with papers concerning ethnocentrism and the division of household labor as it pertains to heterosexual, cohabiting, non-married couples, he likes to drink rum.  Lots and lots of rum.

Kyle lives just north of Seattle along the I-405 corridor.  He’s lived in 4 states, and been to 25 of them.  He thinks the east side of King/Snohomish County is where it’s at.

Also, he loves his Cougars.  Not the mid-40s women in bars (well, actually…) but his Crimson & Grey clad band of misfits.  Rooting for the Cougs isn’t an easy task, and it’s not one he takes lightly.  To him, being a Coug is less about liking a sports team and more about being part of a large family.  Once a Coug, always a Coug.

When he’s not drinking his sorrows away after another Cougar loss, he enjoys playing Xbox.  This should be the place where he says things like, “I love to read, enjoy long walks on the beach without shoes and rolled up khakis, and scrapbooking” but c’mon, he didn’t go to UW.  Also, he’s way too lazy to walk on the beach.  Plus, living in Seattle, our beaches suck.  Not so much a beach with sand as a bunch of sharp, jagged rocks near freezing cold water.

If you’re lucky enough to be considered a friend of Kyle’s, not only is it a great honor for you, but also, Kyle is really handsome and witty.
