Did you really just bring up the price variance and refer to Patrón as a superior tequila? That is definitely not the case, in fact patrón doesnt even rank in the top 15 tequilas based on its taste. The fact of the matter is they get all kinds of free promotion and andvertisement because the media GLORIFIES their product and has brain washed the masses kinda like how they did you. I agree that going directly at Patrón probably wasnt the best idea because they probably wont put a significant dent in their marketshare but im sure 1800s sales are up since launching the campaign, and no matter if any of us like how they went about it that is all that matters to them, educate yourself before posting something like “it must be better, because it costs more”

This is the worst advertising campaign i’ve ever seen. They are paying money to drive potential customers away. Personally, I will be happy drinking any other brand as long as it’s not 1800.

They are patronizing and insulting. I hate them.

I am a huge fan of zombies movies and games. But the walking dead was so so so disappointed. It is so so so slow… most of the season was about finding Sofia and eating, walking around, talking, doing laundry…
The last episode was the worst one. Rick made it sound like it’s his fault for killing Shane. Shane drew a gun on him and could shoot him anytime. Why would you feel bad for self-defense? Also, I don’t understand how a man can be so calm when he finds about his wife screwing his best friend Shane. Then Shane keeps rubbing it in his face that the kid is his… and he’s the better father and husband than Rick…
I agreed with Kyle that it’s a survival show, now an escape show… but it has way too much drama in it… and none of them are interesting…
To sum it up… walking dead sucks!!!!!

I’m pretty sure I’m not blaming the actor for 1800s ad campaign. They offered him money, he took it. Pretty simple. I was talking about him being killed in Goodfellas in jest. That you took that as a literal point of contention speaks volumes about your ability to comprehend humor. As a marketing strategy, I already said I understood it. I just disagreed with how they went about it, suggesting you’re now gay or metrosexual if you don’t drink 1800 Tequila.

Lastly, “Don’t be an asshole about it.” That’s absolutely fucking hilarious.

Honestly the angle they took was pretty good. Yes the Patron bottle is girlie, it even comes w/ ribbon on it. But that’s not to say its not decent. Don’t blame Michael for the ad campaign. So what he got killed off by Joe Pesci. He’s an actor, that wasn’t his decision that’s the director’s. Same with these commercials, he’s just good at what he does. Don’t be an asshole about it. As a marketing professional it’s a good ad. A guy in a decent suit drinking tequila targeting an audience of males w/ a manly bravado.
